Sister Meg Kymes, D.C., is a face familiar to many who’ve been a part of our MSS community. In May 2012, she was missioned here by Daughters of Charity, and since then, she has earned her certification in Elementary Education from Notre Dame of Maryland. She also holds a BA in English from Fontbonne University with a minor in Religious Studies. Originally, she is from St. Louis, MO, and has been a Daughter of Charity for five years. She loves her latest calling to teach 2nd-grade science, social studies, and religion because it allows her to enjoy the students’ excitement and love for learning, as well as appreciate their simple faith in God.
When she isn’t instilling a love of nature and the Lord in the children, she can be found cross-stitching and walking, and really enjoys cantoring for Mass.
